Today's sightseeing Shanghai tour will start from the visit of the Bund, the waterfront of Shanghai and it is regarded as the symbol of Shanghai. The Bund was the centre of Shanghai, consulates of most countries and many banks, businesses and newspaper offices were settled there, and some of old buildings of different styles built in early 1900's or even earlier. The Bund is a must-see of Shanghai tour.
After that, you will proceed to visit the Yuyuan Garden, a typical and well-preserved Suzhou style garden in Shanghai. It was built in the Ming Dynasty, more than 400 years ago. There are beautiful pavilions, miniature lakes, bridges, rock formations and over 40 scenic spots inside the garden.
You will go to Xintiandi, the former French Concession, and it is now an urban tourist attraction and the hottest new entertainment district in Shanghai. Xintiandi is a landmark in contemporary Shanghai. Xintiandi is famous for its leisure streets, historical attractions, stylish bars, fashion boutiques and famous restaurants.
After lunch, you will visit Shanghai Museum. Shanghai Museum is very famous for its long history and large collection of rare cultural piece. It is also one the best museum in China. It is a must-see for scholars, historians, artists, archaeologists.
After that you will visit Jade Buddha Temple. It was built to keep two jade Buddha statues which had been brought from Burma by a monk named Huigen. Jade Buddha Temple is the most famous Buddhist temple in Shanghai.
