Pick up at your hotel between 7:20am and 8:30am, and then driving to Suzhou. "Up in the heaven is the paradise and down on the earth is Suzhou and Hangzhou" has been a popular saying since ancient time. Suzhou was once visited by Marco Polo who compared it to Venice of Italy.
-Upon arrival in Suzhou, the first stop is Net Master Garden, the best and most celebrated as a model Ming Dynasty Garden in all of Suzhou. Then it's on to view the Ancient City Gate and Grand Canal and a tour of a silk spinning factory to see how Chinese silk has been produced since the 14the century.
-After lunch visit Hanshan Temple the best known bell described in Zhang Ji's poem disappeared a long time ago. The bell in the tower now, was modeled on the previous one in 1904. Every year on New Year's Eva in China's lunar calendar, the bell is tolled to pray for the happiness and safety of the coming New Year.
-Then visit the Tiger Hill, known also as Surging Sea Hill, is a large hillock covering some 14100 square meters and is 36 metres in height. Climbing the hill you will find a number of historical sites some of which can be traced back over 2500 years to the founding of Suzhou: Tiger Hill Pagoda, Sword Testing Stone, Sword Pool, Luyu Well and Wanjing Villa.
