Our bus tour starts between 7:00am and 8:30 am. The first destination is the Tiananmen Square in the city center. It is the largest city center square of the world. It was named after the Tiananmen (literally, Gate of Heavenly Peace) which stands on its north side, it is the gate to the Forbidden City. You will have 40 minutes for sightseeing at Tiananmen Square.
Then walk to the Forbidden City, also called the Palace Museum now. It is the largest and best-preserved palatial complex. The Forbidden City was listed by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage Site in 1987, the Palace Museum is now one of must-see tourist attractions in Beijing. Walk along the central axis of palaces from south to north for 2 hours.
After lunch, driving 80 km northwest of Beijing city and get to Badaling Great Wall, the most representative part of China Great Wall. Badaling, means "reach eight directions" because from the top of Badaling you can see mountain ridges stretches in all directions and the Great Wall threads its way like a giant dragon. Badaling section is the most famous and best-preserved wall. The highest point of Badaling is 1,015 meters above sea level. Cable car is available and it is optional.
