Day 1: Arrive in Beijing (/)
Arrive in Beijing, you will be met and transferred to the hotel by our guide. The rest day is free to explore this booming city.
Day 2: Beijing Tour (B, L)
Today you will visit the Tian'anmen Square, the biggest public city center square at the city center of Beijing. It is a very important place for celebrations in traditional Chinese festivals and important days with cultural and political significance. It is just in front of the Forbidden City, covering an area of over 100 acres.
Then follows the visit to the Forbidden City. It was a vast complex of building groups which make up the former residence of the ancient emperors. It is the largest and the best preserved ancient imperial residence in China today, and it is now open to public as Palace Museum. Forbidden City is a Must-see attraction of Beijing tour.
After lunch, you will visit Temple of Heaven. It is an Rayal Sacrificial Altar in Beijing and the largest ancient imperial worship architecture group in the world. The Temple of Heaven is a Taoist temple and it is also a World Heritage Site listed by UNESCO.
Day 3: Beijing Tour (B, L)
After breakfast you will go to visit Badaling Great Wall. The Great Wall is regarded as one of the ancient wonders of the world. And Badaling Great Wall is the most famous and the best-preserved wall in China. Badaling Great Wall is the ancient military defence project to protect Beijing City on the north side.
After lunch, you will move on to the Ming tombs, the mausoleums of 13 emperors of the Ming Dynasty. It is the best-preserved Chinese imperial tombs with 500 years history. The Underground Palace of Chang Ling and Ding Ling are famous.
Day 4: Beijing-Urumqi (B, L)
This morning you will visit the Summer Palace, which is also a World Heritage Site listed by UNESCO. Summer Palace is the most beautiful attraction in Beijing. It is the largest and best-preserved imperial garden in China. It is regarded as a masterpiece of Chinese landscape garden design.
Continue to visit the Lama Temple. It is a mysterious Tibet style Buddhism temple. The Yonghe Temple is one of the largest and most important Tibetan Buddhist temples in the world. After that you will fly to Urumqi. Arrive in Urumqi. Be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel.
Day 5: Urumqi Tour (B, L)
Today you will Visit Heavenly Lake for full day. The Heavenly Lake is located on the halfway up the Peak Bogeda. Since remote times, quite a few of myths and legends circulated concerning the beautiful scenery. The water is very clear and the banks are covered with tall trees. The lake also has many waterfalls. With constantly changing clouds and mist, they form a splendor and open plateau landscape. Surrounded by mountains, the jade-green lake is an ideal place for excursions and rest for most of the year.
Day 6: Urumqi-Kashgar (B)
This morning you will visit the Southern Pasture. Here the landscape is spectacular indeed, with the mountain's icy peaks reaching towards the clouds, crystal ice glaciers, winding mountains, steep cliffs, dense forests, verdant woods, running rivers and fresh and clean air. After that you will visit the Xinjiang Museum. It is is a provincial level comprehensive historical museum in China.
After the tour, you will be transferred to airport and take flight to Kashgar. Our guide will be waiting for you outside the Arrival Hall of the airport and escort you to the hotel.
Day 7: Kashgar Tour (B, L)
This morning you will visit the largest mosque in China-the Id Kah Mosque. As the largest mosque in China, the mosque was built in 1442. Then you will visit the Old City of Kashgar, a key center on the Silk Road. Later you will visit Abakh Hoja Tomb. It is the burial place of Princess Xiangfei who was taken as a consort by Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty during the 17th century in a figure of a Chinese legend.
Day 8: Kashgar-Urumqi (B, L)
Today we will visit Grand Bazaar and livestock bazaar. Grand Bazaar is situated in the East Gate of Kashgar, and is the biggest international trading market in northwest China. Then you will visit the a local family. At last you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back to Urumqi.
Day 9: Departure from Urumqi (B)
Free at leisure until to be transferred to the airport for your flight back to your home.
