Day 1: Arrival Shanghai (/)
Arrive in Shanghai. You will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel in city cener. Shanghai is the one of largest and most cosmopolitan city in the world. Then you will be free at leisure for the rest of the day.
Day 2: Shanghai Tour (B, L)
Enjoy your full day city tour that starts with Jade Buddha Temple visiting. Although the history of the Jade Buddha Temple is not very long, the old-time and classical architectural style makes the temple unique and inimitable in this modern city. Then go to Yuyuan Garden, the most typical Chinese traditional garden in downtown. In the garden, you can appreciate typical Chinese zigzag bridges, rockeries, and pavilions. Continue to visit the new landmark-World Finance Center. It is a mixed use skyscraper which consists of offices, hotels, conference rooms, observation decks, and shopping malls on the ground floors.
In the afternoon, have a walk along the Bund. There are many different styles of European buildings left by foreign traders can be found here. Then go to Nanjing Road, China's No.1 commercial street for souvenir shopping. In the evening, if you are interested, the Acrobatic Show is available for an optional activity.
Day 3: Departure Shanghai (B)
Free at leisure until to be transferred to the airport for Zhangjiajie. Our guide will wait for you at airport and transfer you to the hotel. Free the rest of the day.
Day 4: Zhangjiajie Tour (B, L)
After breakfast take the Bailong Elevator to the top of Yuanjiajie sightseeing area. Here you can appreciate the No.1 Natural Bridge, the Enchanted Stage, and the Pillar of South Heaven which inspired the floating Hallelujah Mountains in movie Avatar. Then go to Tianzi Mountain, catch a cable car to western sea where you can see hundreds of peaks. The Tianzi Mountain is defined as miniature fairyland and expanded bonsai.
After lunch, we continue with Ten Li Gallery, which is another picturesque view of the valley. All of the amazing peaks and captivating rock formations have developed on both sides of the valley. And then take a boat trip on Baofeng Lake. It seats in the half way of eagle mountain, but not a natural lake. Boat tour in the lake gives a lot of fun with the folk songs singing by girls in the boat.
Day 5: Zhangjiajie Tour and Departure (B)
Today, we will see Golden Whip Stream. Enjoy a walking tour along the twisted road in the deep valley packed with many nice spots. Then we will visit the Yellow Stone Stronghold. It is very good for health to hike along the top of Huangshi Village. Standing on the top, you get a bird eye view of the unique rock formation which is as wonderful as that of Huangshan.
After lunch, you will visit Tujia Folk Custom Park-a large scale cultural tourist attraction, which is mainly built to demonstrate Tujia people's folk custom in various aspects such as architecture, food, agriculture, military art etc. What's more, tourists express much admiration for the programmes held in the park dedicated to its splendid culture and magnificent folk customs.
After that, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight home.
