Day 1 Arrival in Chongqing (/)
Our guide will greet you at the arrival hall at Chongqing Airport and escort you to the hotel. The rest of the day is on your own to explore Chongqing city.
Day 2 Chongqing - Dazu tour - Chengdu (B, L)
After a rich breakfast, you will go to Dazu County to visit Dazu Rock Carvings. You will see more than 40 sites of rock carvings housing about 50,000 statues, among which Baoding Rock Carvings are the most notable one. It consists of 13 groups of stone figures, totaling nearly 10,000 vivid cliffside statues.
After that you will go to Chengdu by car and check in the hotel. The drive from Dazu county to Chengdu takes about 4 hours. The rest of the day is free for you to rest and relax to recover from the day tour.
Day 3Chengdu tour to Leshan and Mt. Emei (B)
After breakfast you will to Leshan to visit Leshan Giant Buddha first. The Leshan Giant Buddha is located at the infall of Min River, Qingyi River, and Dadu River. You will see a 71-meter-high stone carving of a sitting Buddha. This huge Buddha was carved during the 90 years from 713 to 803 in the Tang Dynasty, but still remains its original magnificence.
After seeing the Leshan Giant Buddha, you will start your journey to Mount Emei and stay at the hotel in Mt. Emei.
Day 4 Mt. Emei tour - Chengdu (B)
Today will be your wonderful day tour to Mt. Emei. The highest peak of Mount Emei is 3,099 meter high. Mt. Emei is the most famous tour attraction in Sichuan. The mountain is famous for its abundant plants, rich Buddhist culture and the lovely monkeys. You will go to visit Baoguo Temple and Wannian Temple on the Mt Emei.
Baoguo Temple and Wannian Temple are the most famous Buddhsit temple on Mt. Emei.
After this day tour, you will go back to Chengdu and stay in Chengdu hotel.
Day 5 Chengdu tour (B, L)
In the morning, you will visit the Tomb of Wang Jian, who was the first King of the Shu Kingdom during the Five Dynasties and Ten States (907 - 960). Here, you could learn the special culture and history of the area.
After that, you will visit the pandas in Giant Panda Breeding Research Center. Now it is the largest panda reserve centre in the world with hi-tech equipments and more desirable environment. In the late afternoon, you will get back to Chengdu.
Day 6 Depart Chengdu (B)
Free at leisure until to be transferred to the airport for your next destination.
