Day 1 Arrive in Chengdu (/)
Upon your arrival, our local guide will meet you at Chengdu airport and then transfer you to your hotel in Chengdu. Free the rest of the day.
Day 2 Chengdu tour, then train to Chongqing (B, L)
After breakfast, you will start your Chengdu day tour to visit the Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding in Chengdu, where you can see cute giant pandas and other rare wild animals.
After lunch, you will go to visit Kuan Zhai Xiang (Wide and Narrow Alleys). Kuan Zhai Xiang is a very unique and historical city attraction in Chengdu. You will see very typical old buildings in Chengdu with characteristic and traditional grass-root lifestyle. After dinner, you will be transferred to the railway station to take the express train to Chongqing. Upon arrival, our guide in Chongqing will pick you up and escort you to your hotel in Chongqing. Stay in Chongqing hotel.
Day 3 Chongqing day tour to Dazu Carvings (B, L)
Today is your wonderful day tour to visit Dazu Carvings. Dazu Carvings is located 83 kilometers to the west of the Chongqing. Dazu Carvings is the same as famous as the Mogao Cave in Dunhuang. There are more then 50,000 stone Buddha sculptures from the Tang Dynasty (618-907) to the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) here. They are the representatives of later-period grotto art of China. After that, you will be back to your hotel in Chongqing.
Day 4 Depart Chongqing (B)
Our guide will pick you up from the hotel to the airport according to your flight schedule and see you off at Chongqing airport.
