Day 1: Arrival in Chongqing (/)
When your flight lands in Chongqing today, our local guide will meet you outside the baggage claim area at Chongqing Airport and transfer you to the Yangtze River Cruiser. As the ship departs from Chongqing, your relaxing Yangtze River cruise begins.
Day 2: Yangtze River Cruiser (B, L, D)
Have an early get-up to enjoy a spectacular journey on the mighty Yangtze River. After breakfast, the river guide will give you a brief introduction of the cruise and the schedule. After lunch, you will visit the Ghost City of Fengdu County. Before return to the cruise for the welcome banquet, you will explore the city of ghost by visiting the local temples.
Day 3: Yangtze River Cruiser (B, L, D)
The highlight part of the Yangtze River cruise is coming today. You will appreciate the unique scenery of the Three Gorges. First, the ship will sail through Qutang Gorge, the grandest and most dangerous section. After that, you will enter Wu Gorge which is famous for lofty peaks and mountains. The cruise will then take you to the Xiling Gorge, the longest but gentle and mild one among the three. You will have a memorable experience of the shore excursion of Shennong Stream with a sampan tour through the treacherous gorges.
Day 4: Yangtze River Cruiser-Yichang-Zhangjiajie (B)
Today you will have a stop at Sandouping to view the historic Three Gorges Dam, a project which brings in great benefits in flood control and power generation as well as problems like landscape loss and massive migrations. After that you will arrive at Yichang port. Our guide will meet you on board. Transfer to Zhangjiajie. Meet and transfer to hotel.
Day 5: Zhangjiajie (B, L)
After breakfast, proceeding to the highest lift in the world-Bailong Lift and riding it to visit the core scenery area of Zhangjiajie Yuanjiajie, visiting the First Bridge under the Sun., General Parade. Then taking environmental bus to Tianzi Mountain. Here you cansee Imperial Brush Peak, West Sea, Emperor Pavilion and Fairy Maiden Presenting Flowers. And then visiting the Ten Li Gallery, as you walk into the valley, it is as if you are stepping into a graceful portrait of mountains and waterways: the God of Longevity Greeting Guests, the Herb Picking Old Man, and the Three Sisters Peaks.
Day 6: Depart Zhangjiajie (B)
Free activities. Then taking tour bus to the airport, finish the happy journey, see off at the airport.
