Day 1: Arrival in Xian (/)
Arrival in Xian. Met and transfered to your hotel by your English-speaking guide. Check in at your hotel in Xian and free rest of the day.
Day 2: Xian (B, L)
Full excursion tour to the world-famous Terracotta Warriors, which is regarded as one of the world's eighth wonder. The life-sized infantrymen, archer, officers and their horses symbolically guard the Mausoleum of the first Qin emperor.
In afternoon, go on with the visit to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. It is located in the southern suburb of Xian City. The Big Wild Goose Pagoda has a history of over 1,300 years and is a typical ancient Chinese building. As a National Key Cultural Relic Preserve, it won the title of an AAAA Tourist Attraction as well.
Day 3: Xian to Zhangjiajie (B, L)
After breakfast, visit the City Wall that still stretches round the old city today, dividing the city into the inner part and the outer part. You can take part in colourful activities here, such as Xian City Wall Marathon. That is really interesting.
In the afternoon transfer and take the flight to Zhangjiajie. Arriving at Zhangjiajie, met and transferred to your hotel in Zhangjiajie. And then have a rest.
Day 4: Zhangjiajie (B, L)
Today's highlight is to visit Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. It has more than 3000 surprising pillar-like formations pulling out from earth and seen throughout the park. First take elevator up to Huangshizhai(Yellow Stone Stronghold) to have a high view of the park. Because there is a saying goes "you can't claim to have come to Zhangjiajie if you dont visit Yellow Stone Stronghold".
After lunch, your afternoon tour followed by taking an amazing walk in Golden Whip Stream-the most beautiful canyon in the world. It stretches a distance of 7.5 km from north to south, winding across mountains and valleys, breathing in the fresh air, feasting eyes on the grotesque valley and peaks on both sides.
Day 5: Zhangjiajie to Shanghai (B, L)
This morning you will visit the Yellow Dragon Cave-the longest cave in the world and underground wonderland. The cave is of good beneficial air circulation, and is cool in the summer and warm in the winter. This "underground magic palace" abounds with all the sceneries that we can enjoy in the karst caves and the stalagmites are in all different shapes.
This afternoon you will go to the largest city and vibrant commercial heart in China-Shanghai. Upon arrival in Shanghai, meet and transfer to the hotel. See the former Colonial Concessions along The Bund, with their distinctive style of architecture or take a stroll on the bustling shopping street-Nanjing Road by your own.
Day 6: Shanghai (B, L)
First visit the most impressive Shanghai Museum. The architecture perfectly expresses the ancient Chinese concept "round sky and square earth". The treasures of bronzes, ceramics, paintings, and calligraphy, make it a renowned museum. Then proceed to visit the Jade Buddha Temple to see Buddha statues carved out of white jade. The temple has a number of ancient sculptures, rare paintings and Buddhist scriptures.
After lunch, go to visit the Yu Garden, formerly a private garden with beautiful rockeries, pavilions and ponds. In the garden are ridges and peaks and zigzag paths, beautifully decorated. On the walls are brick-made dragons curling around, as vivid as life.
Day 7: Leave Shanghai (B)
Transfer to airport for departure. And then your pleasant trip comes to the end.
