Day 1: Arrive in Zhangjiajie (/)
Your exciting Zhangjiajie tour starts with a warm welcome by our Zhangjiajie tour guide at the airport. And then transfer to your hotel in Zhangjiajie city. Free at leisure for the rest of the day.
Day 2: Zhangjiajie tour (B, L)
Your full day Zhangjiajie tour starts with Zhangjiajie Natural Forest Park visiting. The park was established by the State Council in 1982 as the first National Forest Park of China and is known for its fantastic formations of peaks, crystal clear waters, spectacular karsts caves and the unrivalled high percentage of forest cover. And then head to Wulingyuan Scenic Area. The famous sencery spots include Tianzi Mountain, Yuanjiajie and so on. The strangely-shaped peaks, the absurd stones, the hidden valleys, the wonderful waters and the limestone caves form the "Five Wonders" of Wulingyuan and they are really worth visiting.
Day 3: Zhangjiajie-Fenghuang tour (B, L)
In the morning, taking about 4hours driving to Fenghuang. Enjoy your own exploration of this ancient town in the afternoon and have a good rest in order to prepare for tomorrow's exploration.
Day 4: Fenghuang tour (B, L)
Whole day explore the Fenghuang, a town with picturesque views, strong flavor of folk custom, and literary beauty. There are many minority nationalities, such as Miao, tujia inhibit in here. There are many historical relics and beautiful natural spots. First take you to visit the famous writer Mr. Shencongwen's Former Residence. It features the Xiangxi architectural style as one of the national cultural heritages in Hunan province. Displaying the calligraphy work, manuscript and the portrait of Shen Congwen, the place has become one of the most popular cultural landscapes of Phoenix Town. After that, visiting the Ancient East Gate, a scenic area located in the east side of Fenghuang Ancient Town.
After enjoying lunch, you will take a boat trip in the Tuojiang River. Flowing around the ancient city wall of Fenghuang, Tuojiang River reflects the Tu minority buildings along it. These hundreds of years' buildings-Diaojiaolou add more colors to Tuojiang River. As you go downstream through the Rainbow Bridge, a picture of water town will spread in front of you: the Wanshou Palace, the Wanming Tower, the Duocui Building, and so on.
Day 5: See off (B)
Today is the final day of your Zhangjiajie tour and we have left the day free so that you can enjoy some free time before leaving for the airport. After that, our Zhangjiajie tour guide and driver will escort you from Fenghuang to Zhangjiajie city, then airport transfer.
