Day 1 Arrive in Nanjing (/)
Our guide and driver will greet you at the Nanjing airport or train station when you arrive in Nanjing. And then, you will have a visit to Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum. Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum is a very famous historical scenic spot located in the eastern suburbs of Nanjing City at the southern foot of Zhongshan (Purple) Mountain. It is one of the biggest imperial tombs in China, where buried Emperor Chengzu, the first emperor of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) and Queen Ma.
Then you will proceed to visit Dr. Sun Yat-sen's Mausoleum. This mausoleum is also situated at the foot of of Mount Zijin (Purple Mountain) in Nanjing. Dr. Sun Yat-sen is regarded as the father of the modern China. His Mausoleum is a gathering place for Chinese tourists to pay their respects.
Day 2 Nanjing tour (B, L)
After breakfast, you will start your visit to the Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge, one of the most famous scenic spot in Nanjing. Next you will continue to visit the Zhonghua City Gate, the best looking gate of the Nanjing City Wall and also the best preserved Chinese ancient castle. Then you will have a visit to the Confucius Temple, located on the north bank of the Qinhuai River, and was originally erected during the Song Dynasty.
