Trip Itinerary & Travel Details
Day1 Arrive Guilin (/)
Meet your guide and driver at Guilin Airport. You will be transferred to your hotel in Guilin city center. After that you afternoon Guilin hiking tour will be walking along the Two Rivers and Four Lakes, which was the ancient Guilin city moat, a water system links the most picturesque views of Guilin. Or just walking along the Banyan Lake and the Fir Lakes in the evening.
Day2 Li River Hiking tour (Yangdi-Xingping) (B)
Our guide and driver will meet you at the hotel lobby and then transfer you to Yangdi Dock about 40 km away from Guilin. Then the Li River hiking tour along the Li River will start from Yangdi to Xingping Town. Our guide will escort you all the journey and the tour van will wait for you at Xingping Town. The hiking tour takes about 4-5 hours along the bank of Li River. Your hiking route is as follows: Yangdi Dock - Ferry Boat - Langshi Village - Langshi Dock - Ferry Boat - Quanjiazhou Village - Laocun Village - Lengshui Village - Lengshui Dock - Xingping Town. You will enjoy the most famous senerirs along the Li River, such as Magic Pen Mountain, Chicken Cage Mountain, the Eight Immortals, Nine Horses Mural Hill, Glove Mountain, Yuanbao Mountain (which is used as back side image of CNY currency of 20.00Yuan).
You will be transferred to Yangshuo after the Li River hiking tour. The rest of the day will be free on your own to rest and relax.
Day 3 Free in Yangshuo, visit Reed Flute Cave in the afternoon
Free at leisure in the morning in Yangshuo. You can walk to explore the Yangshuo town or rent a bicycle to visit some parks or villages near Yangshuo. (B)
You will go back to Guilin after lunch time and visit the Reed Flute Cave in Guilin. Stay in Guilin hotel.
Day 4 Guilin to Longji, Longsheng, stay in Ping'an, Longji (B)
After breakfast time, you will take about 2.5 hours drive to go to Longji, the Dragon back terraced field. Longji is located in the very beautiful mountainous area about 100 km away from Guilin and many minorities live there. The Longji transportation is always a problem because of the geological reasons. The Longji people still live in the way like their ancestors did thousands of years ago. The rice terraces are built into the hillsides at Longji and become an amazing scenery.
Day 5 Longji Hiking Tour, Ping'an to Jinkeng (B)
After breakfast, hiking 4~5 hours from Longji to Jinkeng--another famous rice terraces. Jinkeng Rice Terraces is home to Yao minorities, which are located around 25 miles (40 km) away from Longsheng and 20km away from Longji Terraces. Along a string of 2400 feet (800 m) mountains, you will enjoy many picturesque sceneries so that very few guests can be seen on the way: high mountains piercing into clouds, brooks, villages and minority people cut off from civilizations, fresh air, gorgeous terraced fields. It's the beterr wau to relax your body and mind. Besides of the beautiful sceneries, you could have lunch in a farmer's home in village to enjoy local Chinese meal. And then transfer to the airport and end the service.
