Day 1 Arrive Shanghai (/)
Our guide and driver will meet you at Shanghai airport, and then transfer you to your hotel in Shanghai. Free at leisure on your own the rest of the day. You can stroll around your hotel or go to visit the Bund and Nanjing Road by yourselves. The Bund is located in Shanghai's Huangpu river district. It is one of Shanghai's must-see tourist destinations. You can easily find the famous Nanjing Road from the Bund.
Day 2 Shanghai Tour (B, L)
Today's tour starts with the visit of the Shanghai Museum, located in People's Square. It is one of the most famous museum in China for its rich and high-quality collection of ancient Chinese bronze, ceramics, painting and calligraphy. The present Shanghai Museum has eleven galleries and three special temporary exhibition halls. It is good place to know about historic Chinese and well worth a visit!
Then the next visit is Yuyuan Garden, which is the northeast of the Old Town. It was built in the Ming Dynasty and it is now recognized as a significant national heritage site. Yuyuan Gardens are a remarkable representation of a Suzhou-style garden. It is a good place to get taste of the older city. You will have a good time at the Yuyuan Garden.
After lunch, transfer you to the Pudong New Area on the eastern side of the Huangpu River, where the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, the Shanghai World Financial Center, Jin Mao Tower, and Shanghai Ocean Aquarium are located. Pudong New Area is the New Development Area and the most impressive areas of Modern Shanghai. You can enjoy the panoramic view of The Bund the eastern side of the Huangpu River which was used to be the concession of Great Britain and France for over a hundred years.(B+L+D)
Day 3 Shanghai-Zhujiajiao-Shanghai (B, L)
After breakfast, you will be driven to visit Zhujiajiao, a well-known ancient water town with a history of more than 1700 years. Zhujiajiao is the best-preserved among the four ancient towns in Shanghai. Unique old bridges across bubbling streams, small rivers shaded by willow trees, and houses with courtyards attached all transport people who have been living amidst the bustle and hustle of the modern big city to a brand-new world full of antiquity, leisure and tranquility. It is said that to visit Zhujiajaio without seeing the bridges means that you have not really been to Zhujiajiao at all! Bridges in the town are distinctive and old, built during Ming and Qing Dynasties. You will have an extraordinary view there. (B+L)
Day 4 Leave Shanghai for Guangzhou (B)
Check out the hotel before 12:00 at noon and we will transfer you to the airport and see off. We sincerely look forward to your next trip in China. Arrive in Guangzhou in the morning, you will be met and transferred to hotel, then visit Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall. The Memorial Hall is a very famous historical scenic spot. It is in memory of Sun Yat-sen, the great revolutionary forerunner. After that proceed to visit the Ancestral Temple of the Chen Family. It is a unique site for offering up sacrifices to worship ancestors of 72 Chen families in Guangdong. This ancestral temple is also the largest, best preserved and best decorated ancient architecture existing in Guangdong province.
Day 5 Guangzhou Tour (B, L)
After breakfast, you will go to Yuexiu Park first, the largest and the most famous park in downtown Guangzhou. There are three artificial lakes and seven hills of Yuexiu Mountain. Then you will visit Temple of Six Banyan Trees, which is one of the four best Buddhist temples in Guangzhou and located on the Liurong Road (meaning the Six Banyan Trees Road). The Nanyue King Tomb Museum is a must-see Guangzhou attraction, which dates back to 2,000 years ago, is the earliest large scale painted stone chamber tomb ever found south of the Five Ridges. Buried with the tomb owner in a jade shroud are a gold seal and a lot of exquisite jade adornments. It has become a world famous museum.
Day 6 Depart Guangzhou (B)
Free in the morning after breakfast and you will be transferred to airport for your next destination.
