Day 1 Beijing Arrival day. (/)
Welcome to Beijing! The guide is at airport to greet and transfer to your hotel!
Day 2 Beijing Great Wall and Ming Tombs Tour (B, L)
After breakfast, you will go to Ming Tombs (50 miles away from downtown about one hour driving). The thirteen Ming Tombs are the best-preserved Chinese imperial tombs with 500 years history. Typical traditional Chinese lunch is arranged at Jindian restaurant. Before having lunch you will have a short visit of Jade Carving Factory.
After lunch, drive to the Badaling Great Wall. The hike on Badaling Great Wall takes 2 hours. Badaling section is the most famous and best-preserved wall. Its highest point at Badaling is some 800 meters above sea level. Cable car is available and optional. Before transfer back to your hotel, you will have a chance to enjoy the Chinese traditional Silk arts.
Day 3 Beijing Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven and Summer Palace (B, L)
After breakfast, this day tour starts at Tian'anmen Square and then you will proceed to the Forbidden City, the largest and best-preserved ancient imperial palaces group with 500 years history in the world. Visit the Forbidden City along the central axis from south to north for 2 hours.
You will have a short visit the Chinese traditional medicine culture before the visit of the Temple of Heaven, the largest ancient imperial worship architecture group in the world where the ancient Emperors prayed for peace and harvest. The visit to Temple of Heaven takes about 1 hour.
After Western and Chinese buffet lunch ( 40 minutes ) in Bangfuchun Restaurant, enjoy a short visit to a pearl free market not missed. After that you will go to Summer Palace, the largest and most beautiful Chinese imperial garden. It is regarded as a museum of gardens in China. The visit takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes.
Day 4 Beijing Beijing Panda house, Lama Temple and Hutong Tour (B, L)
Pick up at your hotel and then driving to Beijing Zoo where you can see the lovely Giant Pandas. The Panda Zoo visit takes about 40 minutes. Then take you to the largest Lama Temple of Beijing --- Yonghe Temple, 1 hour tour for the mysterious Tibet style Buddhism temple. The Lama Temple tour finishes at about 11:00. Before having lunch (12:00), you will have 45 minutes to visit the Chinese traditional handicraft silk carpet factory.
You will be arranged to have lunch with locals in a typical Beijing resident's house. Then you will be arranged to visit the old Beijing lanes by taking rickshaws. Hutong tour lasts for 2 hours. You will visit the typical Chinese quadrangles, primary school, many famous old buildings, like the bell tower, where you can explore the real life of ordinary people in Beijing.
After the day dour you will be transfer to the train station to catch your evening soft-sleeper train to Xian.
Day 5 Xi'an Xian Walking Tour, Muslim Quarter and Great Mosque (L)
Morning arrival, guide helps you to check into hotel, have breakfast and shower. After refresh ourselves, we have a walk tour in this ancient city. In this walking tour you are accompanied with local guide and stroll in back ally in the Muslim Quarter where you have a glimpse of the local Islam people. For a change of pace, we retreat to the serene Great Mosque where local Muslim people pray.
Day 6 Xi'an Banpo Museum, Big Wild Goose Pagoda and Terracotta Warriors (B, L)
We first drive back to the downtown Xian and vist Banpo Village which existed 6000 years ago and has distinct features of a matriarchal society. Burial ground, potterary workshops and warehouses can be seen there. And then we move to Big Wild Goose Pagoda which is built in 652 to house the Buddhism text brought back by monk Xuanzang and now is the landmark of the Xian city.
After lunch, we uncover ancient history of Terracotta Warriors followers who are placed in battle formation to protect famous Emperor Qin in the afterlife. It was listed the world's cultural legacy by the UNESCO. On the way to Warriors we will visit Warriors Replicas Factory and know how the warriors are made and painted tnousands years ago.
After that, you are transferred to Xian Train Station for you catch soft-sleeper train to Guilin.
Day 7 Train to Guilin Arrive Guilin (B, L)
Pickup escort you to your hotel in Guilin. Stay in Guilin hotel.
Day 8 Guilin Li River Cruise to Yangshuo (B, L)
This morning, we drive about 1 hour to the pier to catch a cruise down the picturesque Li River . Cruise along the Li River between Guilin and Yangshuo is an unforgettable experience. As you take in the stunning scenery there's something interesting to see at almost every bend in the river.
Free time in Yangshuo in the afternoon. Wonder around the West Street full of bars and small stores on your own, or you will bike onto the country roads, lanes and tracks through the paddy field and orchards that surround the famous mountains. Transfer back to Guilin.
Day 9 Guilin Longji Rice Terraces Day Tour (B, L)
This morning we will drive over 90 km away from Guilin to Longji. The Rice Terraces Field is like chains or ribbons spreading from the foot of the hill to the top. The small one looks like spiral shell and some big ones are like towers. The fields lie tier by tier, grand and beautiful.
Day 10 Guilin Guilin city tour (B, L)
Pick you up from hotel in Guilin and visit the Reed Flute Cave which is Known as "the Palace of Natural Arts", Reed Flute Cave contains beautiful stalactites and stalagmites. Then you will move on to visit Fubo Hill to see lots of rock stone carvings and Buddha statues since Tang Dynasty. You may have a bird view of Guilin city from the summit. After that, proceed to Elephant Trunk Hill -the symbol of Guilin. The whole hill looks like a giant elephant with a long trunk. After lunch, you will be transferred to Guilin Train Station and take a train to Shanghai.
Day 11 Shanghai Arrival Shanghai (L)
Arrive in Shanghai. Be met at the train station and transferred to your hotel.
Day 12 Shanghai Yu Garden, Jade Budda Temple and Xintiandi (B, L)
After breakfast, you day tour start to visit Yu Garden, which is a typical Suzhou-style gardens in southern China, with pavilions, halls, chambers, towers, ponds and rockeries inside. After that proceed to Jade Buddha Temple. It was built during the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty (A.D. 1875-1909) and boasts a priceless collection of jade statues from Burma.
After lunch, you will visit Xintiandi, the former French Concession District, characterized by beautiful tree-lined streets and European style architectures. It is now the famous leisure street in Shanghai.
Day 13 Depart Shanghai Departure day (B)
Check out at 12pm. Transfer to the airport for your next destination.
