Day 1: Arrival in Guangzhou (/)
This 5 day tour start with the airport pick up service. Upon arrival at Guangzhou Airport, you will be greeted by our guide and transferred to the hotel. The rest day is free to have the chance for shopping or to explore this booming city at your own place.
Day 2: Guangzhou tour, fly to Guilin (B, L)
After breakfast in the hotel, our guide will meet you to visit the Dr. Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall. Dr Sun Yat-sen was a the great revolutionary forerunner of china. He devoted his entire life to overthrow the Qing Dynasty and set up the Republic of China. His political philosophy is well known as the Three Principles of the People: nationalism, democracy, and the people's livelihood.
After that you will proceed to see the Five Ram Statue in Yuexiu Park. Yuexiu Park is the largest park in Guangzhou city center. Yuexiu Park is a very beautiful park. There are quite a lot attractions and culture relics worth to see in the park, include the site of the Ming Dynasty City Wall, the Square Cannon Site, the stone sculpture of the Five Rams and the Zhenhai Tower.
You will also visit the Temple of Six Banyan Trees, the Qingping Market and the Shamian Island in the afternoon. After Guangzhou day tour, transfer you to the Airport, take an evening flight to Guilin.
Day 3: Guilin tour (B, L)
In the morning, your adventure begins at Elephant Trunk Hill. The Elephant Trunk Hill is a must-see of Guilin tour. Thought it is not a very big park, it is a landmark and one of the top tourist attractions in Guilin. The hill is located at the junction of the Li River and the Peach Blossom River and the shape of the hill looks like a huge elephant drinking water with its trunk.
Then you will move on to Fubo Hill(Wave-Subduing Hill). The Fubo Hill Park is a pretty little park on the riverside. The hill stands elegantly with its half in the river and the other half on land. There are quite a lot attractions in Fubo Hill Park, including Pearl-Retreating Cave, Sword-Testing Rock, and many inscriptions on the cliff. Fubo Hill is a national 4A scenic spot and a place with a lot of legendary stories.
After lunch and a short break, you will continue to visit the Reed Flute Cave and Seven Star Park. The Reed Flute Cave is the most beautiful Kasts cave know as "the Palace of Natural Arts" located 5 km northwest of the downtown of Guilin. It is a natural underground cave with stalactites and stalagmites formed over millions of years. It is a landmark and Must-see tourist attraction in Guilin. The remarkable features of Reed Flute Cave attract many foreign country leaders and UN officials to come every year.
The Seven Star Park is located by the Li River in Guilin city center. The Seven Star Park is a very big park and the park got its name from the seven mountain peaks located in the park array in a shape just like Big Dipper in the sky. There are a lot attractions to see in this park, include Putuo Mountain, Crescent Mountain, Flower Bridge, Camel Hill, Seven Stars Cave and Guihai Stele Forest. The former US President Clinton visited the Seven Star Park and gave a speech on environmental protection in 1998.
Transfer to the hotel to rest up for tomorrow's adventures.
Day 4: Guilin to Yangshuo, Li River cruise tour (B, L)
Today is a highlight of any trip to China - the Li River cruise, which passes through some of the most dramatic and beautiful scenery on earth. It is very comfortalble journey. You can simply relax and enjoy the views as you slowly wind our way through rain-washed valleys, past bright green rice paddies, through bamboo forests and beneath towering cliffs. You will disembark at Yangshuo, you are free to take walking on West Street to embrace this beautiful county.
After check in your hotel in Yangshuo, you will be free in the afternoon. Yangshuo is a little town 66 km away from Guilin. It is the most famous tour destination for backpackers. Yangshuo is nestled amongst beautiful karst peaks. Tourists love to rest and relax in the West Street and enjoy beautiful mountain landscapes of Yangshuo. There are also a lot outdoor activities and entertainments available in Yangshuo in the afternoon and in the evening, like bamboo rafting on Yulong River, seeing cormorant fishing show or the Impression Liusanjie Show are all nice programs loved by tourists (optional, price exclude).
Day 5: Free in Yangshuo, departure from Guilin (B)
Today is on your own, in the morning, you may take taxi (or biking via country road)through the countryside with rice paddies to visit the Ancient Banyan tree Park and the Moon Hill, you may also climb 890 steps up to the moon hill to see the beautiful scenery. Transfer back to Guilin, See you off by transferring to the Airport. You 5 day tour ends.
