Half Day Yangshuo Tour starts from the West Street in Yangshuo at about 13:00 pm. This is an ideal tour for those who want to see the best of Yangshuo's stunning scenery and get an intimate look at Chinese rural life. It provides the perfect opportunity to bring you back in touch with nature.
Bus tour to Baisha town, where is 10 km away from Yangshuo, the Yu Long River and the 400 year old stone bridge. This is a must see.
Yulong River is the biggest branch of the Li River in YangShuo County. The clear water runs smoothly past fields, farmhouses, trees and mountains. You can sit in a chair, float down the Yulong River on a simple bamboo raft and get back to nature. Traveling by bamboo raft you will be surrounded by the crystal water and feel relaxed and happy in the arms of the green mountains.
The water is so clear you can clearly see the under water plants and fish. The scenery along the river is dramatic. Along the way, you can see mountains, farmers, water buffalo, birds flying, and even hear farmers singing and playing flute. It is a relaxing and idyllic retreat.
Cormorant fishing is one of the must see events in Yangshuo. This traditional form of fishing with cormorant birds is still practiced in Yangshuo. The cormorant is a fascinating bird. It is able to dive under water and stay there for a long time. While it is under water it searches for fish. The bird then catches the fish in its beak and returns to the surface.
The last part of the rural tour is a walking tour through village and market place in Baisha town.
