Day 1 Chengdu to Kangding (/)
This morning we will drive to Kangding and arrive there in the afternoon. You can take some photos of Erlang mountain and other mountains on the Sichuan-Tibet highway. Kangding-the capital city of Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture. You can arrange your own photo shooting of the local life of Kangding Tibetan around your hotel. Stay in Kangding hotel.
Day 2 Kangding-Mugetso-Xindu Qiao-Yajiang (182km) (L)
Today's morning photo tour will be inside the Kangding Mugecuo Scenic Area. After that we will leave for Xindu Qiao after lunch. Cross over the Mt. Zheduo at an elevation of 4300 m, you will get to the Xindu Qiao. The view is beautiful and well known as the paradise for photographers. You will have about one hours time to enjoy the scenery and to take photos. And then another 75km drive will be followed until reach Yajiang County (2600m). Overnight at Yajiang.
Day 3 Yajiang-Litang-Daocheng (220km) (L)
The drive from Yajiang to Daocheng via Litang will pass two 4300 m high mountains-the Jianziwan and Kazila mountain. You can take some landscape photo shooting along the journey. Lunch will be arranged at Litang county, which is 4010 m altitude the highest city in the world. The beautiful scenery and spectacular local Tibetan customs are the main topics of the photo tour here. Please note the local Horse-racing Festival is an important holidays here and the best time for folk custom photo tour. Horse-racing Festival is in August every year.
After that you will continue about 146km drive to Daocheng, you will visit a Tibetan monastery on the way to Daocheng. Daocheng is a county that rich in Tibetan culture, and a good place for recharging yourself before heading for Yading. You may relax yourself by bathing at the hot spring and the Tibetan local dancing show.
Day 4 Daocheng / Yading (110km) (L)
After breakfast, you will leave Daocheng for Yading Nature Reserve. The countryside view en route is very beautiful and the road is good, you can take some photos on the way to Yangding. After reach Yading, take a horse-riding to Chonggu Temple, see the scenery of Chonggu Temple and holy peak Xiannairi. From Chonggu Temple trekking up to Drolma-la tso ( Pearl Lake) or ride a horse about 15minutes. Pearl Lake is the best place to view the holy peak Xiannairi. Overnight at Yading Muwu Camping Tent(dorm bed).
Day 5 Yading Nature Reserve Luorong Pasture - Daocheng (L)
Sunrise photo shooting is recommended at Ghonggu Temple, then continue your horse riding trip to Luorong Pasture. It is the best place to pilgrim the three saint peaks of Xiannairi, Yangmaiyong and Xialuoduojie. Afternoon ride horse back to Yading village and drive back to Daochen. Have the famous Rupuchaka hot springs and enjoy the local Tibetan dancing and singing performance. Overnight at Daocheng.
Day 6 Daochen - Xinduqiao (L)
Drive back after breakfast, en route pass Litang, Yajiang. Overnight at Xinduqiao.
Day 7: Xinduqiao - Tanggong - Danba (L)
After taking photos for Xinduqiao morning, drive to Tagong, which is surrounded by grassy hills and snowy mountains, visit Tagong monastery. Afterwards drive to Danba via Bamei, the scenery along the road is absolutely fabulous!
Danba, a county where you may see different Tibetan people and also their unique Danba ancient block towers. Afternoon you will be arranged to visit at Jiaju Village because of its scenery and architecture, other grand and high tower groups, Dadu river valley. The sky towering thousand-years old Diaos (stock house) are the unique landscape on your way. Overnight at Daba.
Day 8 Danba - Chengdu (L)
Morning start driving from Danba back to Chengdu along Dadu river(Wadan road), after lunch at Luding, go through Er'lung Tunnel, reach Chengdu late afternoon, end the trip.
