Day 1 Arrive Guilin, Evening Lakes Boat Tour (/)
Airport pickup escort you to your hotel in Guilin. You will take the evening sightseeing boat to visit 2 rivers and 4 lakes which winds their way around the center of the city. The 90-min boat trip shows the gorgeous night view of the lake, pagoda, bridges and mountains on the shore.
Day 2 Daxu Town, Crown cave. (B, L)
In the morning you set out on a short drive to visit Daxu Ancient Town. Having a history of more than 1000 years, the town was originally formed in the early Northern Song Dynasty (960-1126) and was the leader of four renowned ancient towns in Guangxi Province as early as 600 years ago. Afterwards, you proceed to visit the Crown Cave. The cave extends 12km, but only the 3km nearest the river has been explored to any large extent. Stalagmites abound inside the cave making grotesque and imposing shapes that lead people into a fairyland.
Day 3 Li River Cruise, West Street£¬ Yangshuo Countryside tour (B, L)
This morning, we drive about 1 hour to the pier to catch a cruise down the picturesque Li River. Cruise along the Li River between Guilin and Yangshuo is an unforgettable experience. As you take in the stunning scenery there's something interesting to see at almost every bend in the river. Between spectacular limestone peaks you'll see graceful bamboo groves, farmers tending rice paddies, and lumbering water buffaloes pulling carts or cooling off in the river. Today you will to the Elephant Trunk Hill, and the Solitary Beauty Peak. Elephant Trunk Hill - the shape of the hill is just like a huge elephant drinking water from the river with its trunk, so it is called Elephant Trunk Hill. Solitary Beauty Peak is located in the Jingjiang Price Palace, towering from the ground with an elevation of 216 meters, it is reputed as "Sky-Supporting Pillar in the South".
