Set off from hotel at 8 in the morning; take 1.5 hours highway drive to Dujiangyan City which is famous for its aquatic culture. Stop at the hilltop of Two Kings' Temple; visit the Two Kings' Temple that was established to the memory of both the Father and Son of Li Bing.
Travel to Anlan Suspension Bridge whose fund was raised by local folks during Qing dynasty. Have a nice trip to the three main projects of Dujiangyan Irrigation System: Fish Mouth water-dividing dam, Flying sand fence, and Bottle-neck channel. You will be acquainted with the details on the scientific design and maintenance of this water project during the trip. Then saunter in Lidui park. The whole sightseeing course costs about 2 hours. Leaving Lidui Park for lunch in the restaurant within the Dujiangyan urban district.
Take 15 minutes' ride to Qicheng Mountain scenic area, trek in the scenic spots such as Tianshi Temple, Natural Picture, Zhibi Trench, Heart Wash Pond, to fully relish the esoteric Taoist culture and the true meaning of the most peaceful and secluded mountain under heaven.
