Day 1: Arrive in Lhasa
our tour guide will be awaiting for you at the airport or the train station and transfer you to your hotel in Lhasa. Upon arrival, take rest for altitude acclimatization.
Day 2: visit Sera monastery , Drepung Monastery
In the morning, start your explorations by visiting Sera monastery: Sera Monastery, founded in 1419, is one of the 'great three' university monasteries of Tibet, to witness the "Monk Debates" on the teachings of Buddha and the philosophy of Buddhism. Then, in the afternoon, after lunch, you can visit Drepung Monastery. This monastery, located at the foot of Mount Gephel, is another of the "great three" Gelukpa university monasteries of Tibet.. After returning in the afternoon or early evening, stay in Lhasa city.
Day 3:Visit Namtso Lake
Travel from Lhasa to Namtso Lake. Namtso Lake is the highest salt lake in the world, and largest salt lake in Tibet. Namtso is renowned as one of the most beautiful places in the Nyainqentanglha mountain range. Its cave hermitages have for centuries been the destination of Tibetan pilgrims. You will return to Lhasa at 6-7:00pm, then can relax in Lhasa city.
Day 4: Visit Jokhang Temple , Barkor Market Street and Potola Palace
