Mengjinglai is the most outstanding China-Myanmar village. It's located in the southwest of Xishuangbanna, Menghai Town. The spot is 5km away from Daluo port, facing Myanmar on the east, enjoying the title of "the First Village on Sino-Myanmar Border." Mengjinglai has a very long history with its divine tree, pagoda groups, and holy font recorded in ancient books of Thailand's palace; the whole village is full of strong primitive culture and typical features of ecological hamlets. By the rafting exploration along Daluo river (a China-Myanmar boundary river), travelers can not only enjoy graceful sceneries on both riversides, but also appreciate local Dais' folk-customs of fishing. Dai women's washing clothes and singing folk songs antiphonally.
