Jiangba Ling monastery |
The monastery is name "Jiangba Ling" after the main statue enshrined in this monastery, the future Buddha, in Tibetan is call "Jiangba", build in 1437, it is the oldest and largest monastery in Kham region . Since 1594, this monastery became the site for Pakpa Lamas as well as the center for religion and politics in Kham region.
