Yangshuo Park is in the western part of the town. It used to cost 9 Yuan for entrance but now is free. Because of the relative cool shade here, many locals come here to chat with friends, play cards, morning exercises and so on. Many students also gather here to practice their English with willing visitors. There is a children's play area with rides, magnetic fishing and a bouncy play pen, which only suitable for 3-8 year olds.
You can find the set of steps up the back of the mountain for climbing up to the little Pagoda where you can see the whole Yangshuo Market. Don't forget to bring your camera because here on the top has some good photo opportunities. The park is safe enough in the early evening but please don't go alone after dark, especially females.
