Longquan District is a well-known land of fruits. Longquan Huaguoshan Mountain is located in the eastern suburbs of Chengdu, about 20 kilometers away from the urban area.
Fragrance of flower and fruits spread throughout the year, many kinds of fruit are available. The endless of orchards is the Southwest region's largest peach, loquat and grape production base. Other fruits here, such as pears and plums , are also occupies an important position in the southwest region.
Longquan Huaguoshan ,one of the four major peach bases in China, was granted "the Peaches Village of China" by the State. In Spring, all mountains and hills are heavily covered by peach flowers.
Longquan Mountain covers an area of about 50 square kilometers. Its Landscape is different elsewhere. Besides feast your eyes, tourists can also feast their stomach with fruits. visitors can pluck fresh fruit themselves and eat them. How exciting is that!
Annual Peach Festival and Loquat Festival are lively. The water activities on Baigong weir has much more fun compared to the ordinary city park.
