Chengdu People's Park |
Chengdu People's Park is a charming and very typical Chinese park situated in the southwest of the city. It covers an area of 112,639 square meters, with beautiful scenery and convenient traffic. It is the largest public park in downtown urban center as well as the first open historical park in Chengdu.
Chengdu People's Park has attractions such as plum blossom, begonia, cymbidium, bonsai, large-scale rockeries and so on. You can hire pedal boats and boating in the lake. An antique restaurant was built on the lake lakefront. The park chrysanthemum show and Heming Old Teahouse have long enjoyed a good reputation. Perhaps the best thing about this park is the wonderful teahouse. Tea houses is particularly popular , locals often come to sip, chat and stay all day!
There are also Plaza, exhibitions and performances in the park. this is a great place to relax and soak up some atmosphere while watching the tai ji or wushu enthusiasts work out.
