The Manjushri Temple (Local Name: Wenshu Yuan) is a Buddhist temple in the north of Chengdu, covers an area of 11,600 square meters. The temples are spacious and simple, has a solemn atmosphere ,typical architecture of Qing Dynasty.
The bell tower of the temple hanging a 4,500 kilograms bronze bell. Buddhist sculptures are many since it is a Buddhist temple. Manjushri Temple also has many precious cultural relics collection and Buddhist scriptures
Visitors can also enjoy the unique Sichuan bowl tea in the teahouse of The Manjushri Temple. Holding a bowl of tea in your hands, listening to the performance of folk artists, you can surely appreciate a taste of Sichuan folk life style.
