Shanghai Changfeng Park |
Shanghai Changfeng Park, a large-scale integrated landscape park, was established in April 1957, covering an area of 364,000 square meters, of which 143,000 square meters is water area.
The best time to visit Changfeng Park is morning. Watching the sun rise over the lake is really pleasant. The park has flourishing shade of trees bamboos, graceful lakes with willows on their banks, ginkgo trees, camphor trees, palm trees and so on. There are more than 200 kinds of shrubs and flowers such as cherry, azalea, rose Begonia and peach, which make the park has flowery fragrance all year round.
The "Ocean Floor World" in the park, built in 1999, is one of the Science education bases for young people in Shanghai. It has the size of more than 10,000 square meters, displaying more than 300 kinds of marine life.
