Rice terraces are slopes claimed from nature for cultivation in hilly or mountainous areas. Some are hundreds or even thousands of years old. There are many rice terraces in Guizhou, China. There are five rice terrace areas in Guizhou, Jiabang Rice Terraces is the most famous one in the Southeast Guizhou.
