Thousand Island Lake |
Thousand Island Lake: 1000 Island Lake (called Qiandaohu in Chinese Pinyin), located in Chun'an County, west of Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, located in the center of a tourist area of "Hangzhou--Qiandaohu--Huangshan". This area is one of the first grade national scenic spots and the largest national forest park.
The lake covers an area of five hundred and seventy square kilometers, including over one thousand islands of different sizes. It is famous for the surrounding green hills and varied species of animals and plants.
