Taichi is a very popular and grass-root body exercise in China. We organize Taichi class in old City Walls public park where the slow and relaxed life style is well embodied. In every morning, the gardens and moat banks are busy with the activity of older people. Groups of elderly men and women do tai chi in groups or singly, often with traditional swords or banners. Traditional calligraphers writing in water, and sometimes groups doing Western ball dancing are added to the mix. Some local people gather together sing local opera "Qin Qiang" with self-organized accompanists.
