Day 1 Arrival in Beijing (/)
Our guide will pick you up at Beijing airport and transfer you to the hotel. Free the rest of the day to recover from the jet lag. Or you can explore the local area nearby your hotel at your own pace.
Day 2 Beijing tour (B, L)
Visit the Tian'anmen Square as your first stop. And then you will proceed to visit the world-famous Forbidden City. The Forbidden City is lay at the center of Beijing, which is called Gugong in Chinese. Nowadays, the Forbidden City, or the Palace Museum is open to tourists home and abroad. The Tian'anmen Square and the Forbidden City are top famous tour attractions of Beijing tour. And the Forbidden City is listed as a World Heritage Sites by UNESCO.
And next is going to old Beijing city--Hutong. Hutongs are Beijing's traditional old streets or alleys that are formed by lines of siheyuan. Hutongs also represent the unique historic aspect of life and culture in beijing. You will have a good time by taking rickshaw hutong tour, a very interesting activity of Beijing tour. After lunch is going to Olympics Area, Bird Nest and water cube outside view. In the evening, we will arrange you a traditional Beijing Duck Dinner to welcome your arrival. The wonderful Kungfu Performance will be followed.
Day 3 Beijing tour (B, L)
After breakfast in the morning, you will go to the Thirteen Ming Tombs. Dingling Tomb is best preserved and complete. the mausoleum of Emperor Zhu Yijun, the thirteenth emperor during the Ming Dynasty. You will also have a chance to enter the underground chambers, but take care if you have heart problems, for the atmosphere and dull lighting there can be a problem. After come back to Beijing Jade carving factory to enjoy Chinese jade carving culture and lunch.
After lunch you will go to the one of the world-famous eight wonders - JuYong Guan Great Wall, which is the earliest section to be open to the tourists among all the parts of the whole Great Wall. This immense wall was built to keep out invaders as well as to retain the inhabitants. Come back from downtown to city! Enjoy the tea ceremony in the city tea house!
Day 4 Beijing to Xian, Beijing - Xian (B)
Free at leisure until to be transferred to the airport for your flight. Arrive in Xian, which is one of old city in China! So far, Xian enjoys equal fame with Athens, Cairo, and Rome as one of the four major ancient civilization capitals.
After we arrive our Xian hotel we will have a guided walking tour in the Muslim Quarter which is features a mix of Chinese and Islamic culture. During this walking tour we will visit the Great Mosque, which is one of the oldest, largest and best-preserved Mosques in China with the harmonious and various architecture styles. At last we will have dinner in a Muslim Quarter.
Day 5 Xian tour (B, L)
The visit to the majestic Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum will start your today's tour. Named as one of the most important archaeological discoveries in 20th Century, Terracotta Warriors can definitely present the powerful Qin Army they defend China 2200 years ago. In the afternoon, you will visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. In the evening you will be indulged in a Tang Dynasty style dinner and culture show.
Day 6 Xian tour, (B, L)
Today you will have a nice walk around the imposing City Wall. Then go to visit one of the best China history museums, Shaanxi History Museum. Numerous first-class treasures present vivid China ancient glorious culture.
Day 7 Xian to Guilin, Xian - Guilin (B)
After breakfast in your hotel, this morning you will visit the Hanyangling Museum, the mausoleum of Western Han Emperor Liu Qi. Then you will board a flight to Guilin, and check in at Guilin hotel.
Day 8 Guilin city tour (B, L)
Our guide will pick you up at the hotel lobby and drive you to visit the Reed Flute Cave. The Reed Flute Cave is the most famous cave in Guilin. It is usually described as the "the Palace of Natural Arts". It is a must-see tour attractions of Guilin tour. After that you will visit Seven Star Park. The Seven Star Park is the largest park in Guilin. It got its name because there are seven peaks put in order like the Big Dipper in the sky.
After lunch, you will visit the Elephant Trunk Hill park in down town Guilin. The shape of the hill is just like a huge and lovely elephant drinking water by the river with its trunk, so it is called Elephant Trunk Hill. Elephant Trunk Hill itself is the main scenic spot of the park, and it is the symbol of Guilin city.
Day 9 Guilin Li River cruise to Yangshuo (B, L)
The Li River Cruise tour will be today's highlights. You will take the cruise down the Li River to Yangshuo. Li River is one of the most beautiful reviver in the world. you will enjoy the most beautiful Karst landscape along the banks of the river. You will enjoy about a little more 4 hours leisure tour on the cruise. Lunch is reserved on boat before disembark in Yangshuo.
Yangshuo is a lovely little town and a must-see place of Guilin tour. It is surrounded by many karst peaks and bordered by the Li River on one side. Yangshuo is a paradise for backpackers. West Street is nice place to go for visitors to Yangshuo. It is the oldest street with a history of more than 1400 years. But it is the most prosperous street in Yangshuo. More 100,000 foreign tourists come and visit here every year. Yangshuo West Street is the main shopping area and a good place to rest and relax. There are bars and restaurants selling foreign foods of all kinds. The West Street is called 'the global village'. Visitors are attracted to West Street by its unique mix cultures of the east and west.
After disembark you will be transferred to your hotel. You will be free in the afternoon. You can go to some parks in Yangshuo or visit some rural area by yourselves. Dinner is leaved on your own. There are many western-style restaurants and cafes in the famous West Street for your choices.
Day 10 Yangshuo - Guilin - Shanghai (B, L)
This morning you will be transferred to Guilin airport and board a flight to Shanghai. Our Shanghai guide will transfer you to the hotel. After finishing checking-in, our guide will take you to visit the Xin Tian Di, which is a newly developed recreation area in Shanghai with old styled buildings. During your exploration there, you may find a cafe or western-styled restaurant to have your own dinner.
Day 11 Shanghai city tour (B, L)
You will visit the Shanghai Museum and the beautiful Yuyuan Garden. After lunch, take the bund, you will experience the prosperity of modern Shanghai.
Day 12 Departure from Shanghai (B)
After breakfast, you will travel to the airport for your homeward flight by yourselves.
