Day 1 Arrival Shanghai (/)
Arrive in Shanghai. You will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. Free at leisure for the rest of the day.
Day 2 Shanghai (B, L)
Depart from hotel in the morning to have a whole-day trip of Jade Buddha Temple, Yuyuan Garden, Nanjing Road and the Bund.
Day 3 Shanghai-Zhujiajiao-Shanghai (B, L)
After breakfast, you will be driven to visit Zhujiajiao, a well-known ancient water town with a history of more than 1700 years. Zhujiajiao is the best-preserved among the four ancient towns in Shanghai. Bridges in the town are distinctive and old, built during Ming and Qing Dynasties.Then back to Shanghai.
Day 4 Shanghai-Xiamen (B)
Free at leisure until to be transferred to the train station to take the high-speed train to Xiamen. Our guide will wait for you at the train station and transfer you to the hotel. Free the rest of the day.
Day 5 Xiamen-Yongding Tulou (B, L)(/)
This morning you will be directly transferred to Yongding Tulou in Longyan City. It will takes about 3 hour's drive. On the way you will visit a Tea Field in Nanjing county, Zhangzhou, and take a walk in the pictureque tea plandation. After arrival, you will visit Chengqilou, the largest Tulou in this area. After that you will drive to Chuxi Village to see the Jiqinglou, one of the oldest tulou built in 1419. If time is enough, you can climb to the top of neaby mountain and have a bird's view of Chuxi Village. This evening you will have a real homemade dinner with the local hakka family.
Day 6 Yongding Tulou-Xiamen(/) (B, L)
This moring you will get up early and walk along the field path to see the beautiful scenery of the countryside. After lunch, you will head to to see the "Great Wall of Tulou"-Nanxi Tulou Valley. Here you can have a chance to visit the most two famous tutou, Zhenfulou and Yanxianglou. After the tour, we will drive back to Xiamen.
Day 7 Arrive in Guilin (B)
Free at leisure until to be transferred to airport for Guilin. Arrive in Guilin, you will be met and and driven directly to Yangshuo. Free in Yangshuo in the afternoon. You can stroll in the west street after dinner. Yangshuo is an ancient town with a history of more than 1,000 years.
Day 8 Xingping Ancient Town and Fishing Village Tour (B, L)
Today is a wonderful tour to visit Xingping Ancient Town and Fishing Village at Xingping. You will take a boat or bamboo raft trip to the Fishing Village of Xingping. You will see a lot famous sceneries on the way to the village, include Yellow Cloth Shoal, the Mural Hill, ect.. The Fishing Village is also a very beaufiful place, where the former US president Clinton visited it in 1998. He was deeply attracted by the views in and around the village. Stay in Yangshuo hotel.
Day 9 Yangshuo-Langzi-Yangshuo (B, L)
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Langzi Ancient Town to see the traditional architecture. Langzi Ancient Town is about 8 km from Yangshuo. It is is a large scale ancient settlers which located at Gaotian Town in the southwest of Yangshuo. The stones connecting with each lobby are carved with different sculpts in this old village. Turret and towers can be found in the village, as well as the Rigorous structures, ingenious layout, and many beams carved with paints.
Day 10 Yangshuo and Depart Guilin (B)
Free in Yangshuo in the morning. You will be transferred to the airport to take flight or to the train station to take the high-speed train to to Beijing. Upon your arrival at Beijing, our local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free at your own leisure.
Day 11 Beijing Tour (B, L)
After breakfast you will go to visit Badaling Great Wall. The Great Wall is regarded as one of the ancient wonders of the world. And Badaling Great Wall is the most famous and the best-preserved wall in China. Badaling Great Wall is the ancient military defence project to protect Beijing City on the north side.
After lunch, you will move on to the Ming tombs, the mausoleums of 13 emperors of the Ming Dynasty. It is the best-preserved Chinese imperial tombs with 500 years history. The Sacred Way is the avenue in the middle of the tomb area.
Day 12 Beijing Tour (B, L)
Our guide will pick you up and then drive to the Tiananmen Square-the largest square in the world. And then walk directly into the Forbidden City. The Forbidden City, also known as the Palace Museum, is the largest and most well preserved ancient imperial residence in China today.
After lunch, you will drive to Shichahai area and visit Beijing Hutong by rickshaw. Shichahai is a famous scenic area in Beijing with three lakes surrounding and a lot remnants of old-style Beijing residences, Hutong and Courtyard. Then walk along one of the oldest streets in Beijing-the Yandaixiejie. Most of the shops in Yandaixie Street are situated on sidesteps with a big wooden tobacco pipe standing in front of the gate.
Day 13 Beijing Departure (B)
Transfer to the airport for your next destination.
