Welcome to Xian! You will met at the airport and then be transferred to the hotel (booked by us) by private guide and English speaking tour guide. Free on your own at the rest of the day.
Day 2 Xian the Terra-cotta Warriors, BanPo Museum Tour (B, L)
Pick up from your hotel in Xian. First visit the Terra-cotta Warriors. To visit Army of Terra Cotta Warriors is the main reason why you are here in Xian. The original site was found by a local farmer drilling a well in 1974. Now it has turned into the most important attraction in Xian -- Terracotta Warriors and Horse Museum. The museum and the mausoleum are listed the world's cultural legacies as the UNESCO.
And then expand your insight into ancient China at this remarkable museum. Just to the east of Xi'an, the Banpo Museum is built upon the site of the important Banpo archeological dig. The museum showcases the astonishing relics of the matriarchal Neolithic Yangshao people, who some-6,000 years ago thrived in the region, making exquisite pottery and tools from stone, wood and animal hide.
After the day tour, driv back to your downtown hotel in Xian.
Day 3 Xian Han Yang Ling Museum Tour (B, L)
Pick up from your hotel in Xian to visit Han Yang Ling Museum -- The biggest historical attraction based on Han Dynasty culture in China. The unique underground museum of modern technology in the world.
You can SIMULATE EXCAVATION and learn to RELICS RESTORATION. Simulated Excavation is a practice project which provides history enthusiasts and archaeological trainees a chance to participate in the real excavation of historical ruins. Relic's restoration is a visiting project which provides antique collectors and enthusiasts a chance to learn basic restoration techniques. (Reservation required one week in advance with an additional fee charged).
