Start from Guiyang City and end from Guilin City, this 8 Days Guizhou Guangxi Ethnic Photo Tour will take you to experience the Dongs, Miaos, Zhuangs, Yaos minorities with original ethnic culture. This is a wonderful tour with fantastic scenery. You will have a special experience to photo traditional ethnic villages and to learn the interesting facts about their culture, custom and buildings.

Day 1: Arrival in Guiyang (/)
Arrive in Guiyang, the capital of Guizhou province. You will be met at airport and then transferred to Kaili, capital of Southeast Guizhou Region. The rest of the day is on your own arrangement.
Day 2: Kaili Photo Tour (/)
In the morning we will visit the Kaili Ethnic Minorities Museum which has a large collection of cultural display of Miao minority people. A short drive from Kaili takes us to Shiqiao village where you can photograph the art of traditional paper-making. Couple hundred households of Miao people live in the small village in the mountain valley. If you want to know more about the Miao people, Shiqiao Miao village is the best choice for you. Then drive to Matang village to see the Gejia Miao, where the residents wear traditional Miao cloth with colorful decoration.
Day 3: Kaili-Rongjiang Photo Tour (/)
We will leave Kaili in the morning to visit the village of Langde, a quiet little Miao Village village with traditional wooden houses, cobblestone path and waterwheels. Then we visit Paika Miao village, which is known more about Lusheng-the Miao people's most important musical instrument. After that we head for Rongjiang and stop by Datang, short-skirt Miao village with their unique aquatic granary and gorgeous view of Mountain Leishan.
Day 4: Rongjiang-Zhaoxing Photo Tour (/)
Visit Basha, a small Miao village with very little signs of modern influence for Guizhou travel. The people rarely venture out of the village except for selling firewood and shopping for daily necessities in markets, and both men and women can be seen in traditional costumes, wearing their hair long. Yintan Dong People's village built on the top of the mountain with its beautiful landscape. Then a 2-hour drive will take us to Zhaoxing, one of the largest Dong villages in the region with more than 700 households.
Day 5: Zhaoxing Photo Tour (/)
In the morning we will shoot Tang An Dong village in Zhaoxing with rice terrace and Dong ethnic Minority museum. After lunch we will walk around the village. The local villagers will present a performance-ethnic dances and polyphonic style sing-along.
Day 6: Zhaoxing- Sanjiang Photo Tour (/)
In the morning we will visit Zhaoxing Dong People's Village and continue our journey south into Sanjiang County of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Photograph Chengyang Wind and Rain Bridge and Mapang Drum-tower in Sanjiang after your arrival. Walking behind the Wind and Rain Bridge we will see farms and market at the foot of the hill.
Day 7: Sanjiang-Longsheng Photo Tour (/)
In the morning, drive to Longsheng, where we will visit the Huangluo Yao Village and the Ping'an Village. The fields are called Longji Rice Terraces, which were built in 800 years ago by the Zhuang and Yao people. The terraces are beautiful-a real photographer's dream and an amazing feat of farming. Thousands of acres, inaccessible by mechanical tools, have to be tilled and cared for by hand. The layers upon layers of rice terrace reach up to 1,000 meters peak. It's worth staying a whole day there, climbing up to the top for stunning views and great photos.
Day 8: Longsheng-Guilin Departure (/)
Today you can choose to get up early to photograph the magnificent sunrise over the glorious terraces. The perfect curves, greens in so many shades, dappled water and early rising farmers and oxen created a vividly real yet strangely bizarre picture on those towering, movie screen mountains. Or you will wake up with the sunrise and glittering rice terrace outside your room. After a relaxed breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your departure.
