Day 1: Arrival in Zhangjiajie (/)
Our guide will greet you at the Zhangjiajie Airport and transfer you to the hotel. The rest of today is free for you to adjust to the time difference or explore the city by yourself.
Day 2: Zhangjiajie tour-Huangshizhai, Golden whip stream (B, L)
Your memorable tour in Zhangjiajie begins from the largest collection of marvelous spectacles-Huangshizhai. It also named Yellow stone village or Yellow stone stronghold in English. The foremost scenic spots include Treasure Box of Heavenly Books, the Magic Sea-suppressing Needle, the South Pillar of Heaven and so on. There is a popular saying:"It can't be said that you have been to Zhangjiajie without reaching Huangshi Fort."
After enjoying lunch, begin to visit Golden whip stream. In the opinion of many tourists, this is the most beautiful and memorable waterway. As a veritable "paradise" for plants, its pathways are adorned by an abundance of flowers, trees, and grasses. Then too, this place is a "kingdom" fit for various fauna-birds, fish and land animals. This is good chance to walk 2-3 hours for 7.5 km long in the great valley.
Day 3: Zhangjiajie tour-Yuanjiajie, Tianzi Mount and Shilihualang (B, L)
This morning excursion takes you to Yuanjiajie-the World Natural Heritage Site. The most famous scenic is the Qiankun Pillar, which has been renamed Avatar Hallelujah Mountain by the local government in honor of the film-Avatar.Bailong elevator-world engineering wonder locates here. It take 1.58 seconds to transport tourists from the bottom to the Yuanjiajie top exhibiting unbelievable and fantastic views.
Then visit Tianzi Mountain. It has been given a sobriquet "King of Hoodoos". Mt.Tianzi is particularly recommended for its good view. Taking in the view there, one can see solitary and clustering mountains among the clouds mid mist.
The last program is to see Shilihualang (Ten Li Gallery). Here is a "painting" produced by Great Nature. The valley extends 4 kilometers and is wider than the Golden Whip Stream. All of the amazing peaks and captivating rock formations have developed on both sides of the valley.
Day 4: Zhangjiajie tour-Yellow dragon cave, Baofeng lake (B, L)
Today our guide will take you to the mysterious Yellow dragon cave. The Yellow Dragon Cave is one of the foremost scenic areas in Zhangjiajie, and was rated as one of the first 4A National Tourist Attractions in China. Also it has been honored as "magical karst cave both in China and in the world".
The next destination is Baofeng lake. It is located in the mountains, with abundant water and fresh air. Green trees and stone peaks of various shapes surround the lake. There are also marvelous running waterfalls, pouring out like troops from heaven descending to the world. It is a great pleasure.
