Day 1 Arrival of Guilin (/)
Upon your arrival in Guilin, our guide who holds a welcome sign with your name on it will meet you at Guilin airport. Then our guide and driver will transfer to your hotel in Guilin.
Day 2 Guilin - Longsheng - Sanjiang (B)
Pick you up at the hotel lobby at about 08:00 A.M.. Drive about 2 hours to Longsheng to visit the Longji Terraced Fields. The rice terraces are built into the hillsides, and you will visit a Yao village at Huangluo and Zhuang village in Ping'an. There is no one best answer for everyone for the best time to trek in Longji, because Longji's beauty changes in the four seasons, and travel interests vary in person. Spring is the best time to see oriental style farming. The best time for a good photo is in early June, when the paddies are pumping with water, the villages are transferring young plant of rice from the seed bed to large areas of rice terrace. Summer is best time to see green. September to November is best time to see the fall color. January and February is best time to see silvery mountains. And then drive to Sanjiang.
Sanjiang is an automomous county of Dong minority, about 95 km away from Longji, Longsheng. It takes about more than 2 hours drive there. The mountain road between Longsheng to Sanjiang is rather bumpy and it is always under construction. Stay in Sanjiang.
Day 3 Sanjiang - Guilin (B)
Be met at your hotel after breakfast, you will be free at leisure to explore the old town. The hiking tour around Sanjiang will be a tough and challenging, but be the best way to deeply appreciate the natural beauty and local minority culture. Hiking for about 2-3 hours around the Dong villages to experience the charm of the minority cultures in the region.
Visit the Chengyang Wind and Rain Bridge in the afternoon. Chengyang Roof Covered Bridge is one of the most beautiful and well protected shelter bridges in China, constructed in 1911,finished in 1925. The bridge is 64.4 meters long, 3.4 meters wide, 10.6 meters high, with beautiful shelters construction on it. It is supported by five big stone piers and the whole bridge is made of wood with all mortise and tenon joints, without any iron nails. And then drive back to Guilin. Stay in Guilin.
Day 4 Guilin - Yangshuo (B)
Pick you up at the hotel. Drive to Zhujiang Pier. Take cruise on Li River to Yangshuo to appreciate the picturesque landscape in China. Then disembark at Yangshuo. Free in the afternoon. Biking in Beautiful Yangshuo and taking some country tour programs like bamboo rafting on Yulong River or seeing cormorant fishing show and going to some parks in Yangshuo are very good add-on programs welcome by tourists from all over the world. The splendid performance of Impression Liu Sanjie directed by famous director Zhang Yimou is also the best add-on programs in the evening. stay in Yangshuo hotel.
Day 5 Yangshuo and Depart Guilin (B)
Free in Yangshuo in the morning. Then you will be transferred back to Guilin airport. End of the service.
