Day 1: Arrival in Beijing (/)
Upon your arrival at the Beijing, you will be met by our guide and driver and be driven to the downtown Beijing and check in the your hotel. Free explore Beijing in the rest time.
Day 2: Beijing City Tour (B, L)
After breakfast, we will visit Tiananmen Square and the magnificent Forbidden City. After enjoying lunch, you will visit the Temple of Heaven. The Temple of Heaven is an exquisite and extraordinary example of Chinese religious architecture. In the evening, You can choose the Peking Opera Show (or Chinese Kungfu show) as optional.
Day 3: Beijing (B, L)
This morning excursion takes you to the Great Wall at Badaling. After lunch, you will go to Ming Tombs which is a cluster of 13 mausoleums,the final resting places of 13 Ming Dynasty emperors.You will visit the Changling Ming Tombs, one of the country's most famous and unmissable tourist destinations in Beijing.
Day 4: Beijing-Xian (B)
Free in the morning until you will be driven to airport for Xi'an. Be met by the local guide in Xian and be transferred to the hotel. Lunch at good local restaurant followed by visit to Shaanxi Historical Museum, Ancient City Wall. Here the thriving trees and flowers decorate the classical Chinese architecture of the wall, adding additional beauty to the city of Xian.
Day 5: Xian-Zhangjiajie (B, L)
After having the breakfast at the hotel, your excursion begins with the Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses-the most significant archeological excavations of the 20th century. This army of more than 6,000 life size terracotta warriors, with horses and chariots lined up facing east and ready for battle, is one of the world's most remarkable archaeological finds.
Then our guide will take you to the landmark of Xian-the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the Grand Mosque. The Big Wild Goose Pagoda is 64 meters high, a brick and wood structure. It is one of the most famous Buddhist pagodas in China. Lunch at good local restaurant. Finally, transfer to the airport to take your flight to attractive Zhangjiajie. Our local guide will receive you at the airport and transfer you to the Hotel.
Day 6: Zhangjiajie (B, L)
Our professional local guide will meet you at the hotel lobby and take you to Tianzi Mountain, visit Helong Marshal Park. You can choose to walk or take the cableway on the Tianzishan. Its clouds of praise for the Chinese and foreign tourists.
After lunch, followed by a visit to Yuanjiajie. "The First Bridge in the World" is one of the best scenic spots here and is a marvelous place well worth a visit. The bridge, crossing between two hills, is 25 meters long and 357 meters high, it is actually the highest naturally-formed rock bridge in the world. And then visit Qiankunzhu Hill which has been renamed as "Hallelujah Mountain" after floating mountains featured in Hollywood blockbuster "Avatar".
Day 7: Zhangjiajie-Shanghai (B)
In the morning, we will arrange you visit Yellow Dragon Cave. It is one of the foremost scenic areas in Zhangjiajie, and was rated as one of the first 4A National Tourist Attractions in China. Also it has been honored as "magical karst cave both in China and in the world".
After lunch, casual walk along the beautiful and peaceful stream-Golden Whip Stream. Then bus back to Zhangjiajie downtown, visit the Junsheng Sandstone Painting Gallery.When finishing the visit, you will take a flight to Shanghai in the evening and our guide will greet you at the airport and transfer you to the Hotel in Shanghai downtown.
Day 8: Shanghai (B, L)
Your pleasant Shanghai tour begins with a visit to the Yu Garden, a classical garden initially built by an official to satisfy his old parents over 400 years ago. The Nine-Turnings Bridge and a pavilion in the middle of the pond are the highlights of the garden. After that, the tour will be extended to the Jade Buddha Temple. Here the air is heavy with smoke of burning incense all the year round and the sound of scripture-chanting never comes to an end. Later, a luxurious western buffet lunch will be specially served for you.
In the afternoon, you will head to the Bund area. Here you can explore the Bund on your own. The Bund is the best-known landmark in Shanghai. Also it is the home of the foreign traders and major banks, the embankment has taken on a new vitality; lovely old European-style buildings mix with futuristic developments, chic restaurants, top end shops and bars offer plenty to see and do. And by night it's magic!
Day 9: Shanghai (B, L)
Morning after breakfast, there is a visit to Shanghai Museum, a fantastic Chinese ancient art gallery. You might be eager to visit the Oriental Pearl TV Tower when you were touring around the Bund on the first day. The tower is 468 meters high. It is the highest TV Tower in Asia and is the third highest one in the world. The designers magically set the eleven beautiful spheres of various sizes up from the green grassland to the blue sky with two giant spheres shining like two rubies. The whole design is rich in poetic and pictorial splendor, which gives the tourists the impression that pearls of various sizes are dropping onto the emerald plate. The Oriental Pearl TV Tower has already become one of the symbolic buildings and tourism resorts in Shanghai and it is honored as one of the ten best views in Shanghai. Lunch at local Chinese restaurant. Afternoon free for shopping.
Day 10: Shanghai-Departure (B)
You are free at own leisure before departure. Your Shanghai tour will come to the end today and our guide will see you off at Shanghai Airport. Wish you a pleasant journey home!
