Day 1 Entry Xian (/)
6 Days Xian-Guilin Tour start from the day when you arrive in Xian. Our Guide and driver will pick you up from the Xian airport and then transfer you to your hotel in Xian. You will be free the rest of the day.
Day 2 Xian city tour (B, L)
After break fast, you will meet your guide at the lobby of your hotel and then visit Terracotta Warriors, the Eighth Wonder of the World. The sumptuous large scale military line-up of real size soldiers figures re-creates the powerful Qin army which swept the other six countries away 2000 years ago.
After lunch, you will proceed your visit to the Forest of Stone Steles Museum. It is a very famous museum, a classical courtyard styled structure with the oldest and richest collection of steles in China, display the great works of calligraphy, painting and historical Steles which records the Chinese culture achievements.
Then we move on to visit the City Wall -the best preserved, oldest and largest ancient city defense system in China. The wall has a history of over 600 years. After that, transfer you back to your hotel. End of today's tour.
Day 3 Xian tour and Flight to Guilin (B, L)
After breakfast in the morning, you will first visit the Provincial Museum---a magnificent modern national museum, which built in the dignified and elegant Tang-dynasty style. The superb craftsmanship of 370,000 relics including murals, paintings, pottery, coins, as well as bronze, gold, and silver objects shows the splendor of Chinese civilization.
After that, you will visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda It is one of the city's most distinctive and outstanding landmarks, possibly the most beautiful building left in Xian as well.
Then we transfer to airport and leave for Guilin. and our Guilin local guide will wait for you at airport and transfer you to the hotel. Free the rest of the day. Stay in Guilin hotel.
Day 4 Li River Cruise to Yangshuo, stay in Yangshuo (B, L)
Today's highlights is the very comfortable Li River Cruise to from Guilin to Yangshuo. You will meet your guide at your hotel after breakfast and then go to Zhujiang Pier. You will take a cruise on Li River to Yangshuo to enjoy the picturesque landscape in China. Then disembark at Yangshuo.
Free in the afternoon. There are quite a lot very good add-on programs in Yangshuo, like biking in Beautiful Yangshuo and taking some country tour programs like bamboo rafting on Yulong River or seeing cormorant fishing show and you can go to some parks in Yangshuo in the afternoon. The splendid performance of Impression Liu Sanjie directed by famous director Zhang Yimou is also the best add-on programs in the evening. stay in Yangshuo hotel.
Day 5 Free in Yangshuo in the morning + half day Guilin city tour visit Reed Flute Cave (B, L)
Free in Yangshuo in the morning. Then drive to Guilin and visit Reed Flute Cave. You will visit a fresh water pearl jewelry ship before dinner. After the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel Guilin.
Day 6 Longji Rice Terraces Tour (B, L)
Pick you up at the hotel lobby. Drive about 2 hours to Longsheng to visit the Longji Terraced Field. The rice terraces are built into the hillsides. There is no one best answer for everyone for the best time to trek in Longji, because Longji's beauty changes in the four seasons, and travel interests vary in person. Spring is the best time to see oriental style farming. The best time for a good photo is in early June, when the paddies are pumping with water, the villages are transferring young plant of rice from the seed bed to large areas of rice terrace. Summer is best time to see green. September to November is best time to see the fall color. January and February is best time to see silvery mountains.
Apart from its amazing scenery, Longji is also in an area where some of China's ethnic minority culture can be experienced. The tradition, the primitive life style of ethnic minorities in Longji villages is the eternal theme for travelers. Back to Guilin Airport, see off.
