Day 1: Arrive in Kunming (/)
Arrive in Kunming, which is known as Spring City. Be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel for a good rest. If have time, you could tour Yunnan Ethnic Village Park and Yunnan Minorities Museum.
Day 2: Kunming-Xishuangbanna Photo Tour (B)
This morning we will take flight to Jinghong (which means 'the City of Dawn' in the Dai language), the capital city of Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture. It is home to the ethnic Dai people as well as the golden peacock, the emblem of Yunnan Province, and also inhabited a number of ethnic groups, of which the ethnic Dai nationality has the largest population. Their special customs, festival activities, architectural styles, and garden-like villages will give you a lot of inspiration for your photography.
Day 3: Xishuangbanna Photo Tour (B)
In this morning, we'll travel by road to shoot Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden. The environment here is spectacular, surrounded by rivers and mountains and containing a wealth of rare and unusual plants, trees and flowers. On the way back, we'll take a visit to Dais' Garden and join in the water-splashing game if possible.
Day 4: Xishuangbanna-Dali Photo Tour (B)
Today we will drive to the airport around 9:30am to catch the only flight between Jinghong and Dali. Upon arrival, be transferred to the hotel. Then shoot the Yan's Compound of Bai Minority in Xizhou. Enjoy the Ancient Music and Dance Performance and taste the local tea. Visit the tie-dying workshop and the Foreigner Street in Dali ancient town.
Day 5: Dali-Lijiang Photo Tour (B)
In the morning, you will have a visit to a market at Xizhou Old Town , a place famous for the Bai culture. Then, have a short tour to Zhoucheng Village which has earned the nickname 'the Hometown to Tie-dyeing'. After that, spend about 3hours driving, you will reach Lijiang, and then you can take a short photograph around Lijiang Ancient Town to walk down the cobblestone streets over 700 years and see the Naxi way of life which chaned little over time.
Day 6: Lijiang Photo Tour and Departure (B)
Today, you will enjoy a visit to Shuhe Ancient Town first. Then move to Baisha Village, which was the first settlement of Naxi people. You could visit a Naxi family to learn more about the local customs and Naxi people's life. Besides the ancient palaces and pavilions, the most attractive site you will see is Baisha Murals. After that, continue your visit to Yuhu Village. Then transfer to airport for your departure.
