Shanghai Pudong International Airport is one of the three major international airports in China. It located at Shanghai about 30 kilometers from downtown and about 40 kilometers from Shanghai Hongqiao Airport, adjacent to the coastline in the eastern edge of Pudong district, covers an area of more than 40 square kilometers. |
| Pudong International Airport project launched in October 1997 and put into service in September 1999. There is a 4000 meters long, 60 meters wide 4E-class north-south runway, two parallel taxiways, 800,000 square meters apron with a total of 76 parking space and 50,000 square meters of cargo area. Meanwhile, it well equipped with navigation, communications, surveillance, weather forecast systems and logistical support, can provide 24-hours service. |

Its departure terminals includes 13 baggage conveyors and 28 boarding bridges, commercial catering facilities and other services, covers an area of 280,000 square meters.
