Sanya South Mosque is located at Huixin Village, Sanya and built at the beginning of early Ming dynasty with traditional Chinese palace architectural style. It was destroyed by Japanese during the war. After six times of renovation in 1980's, Sanya South Mosque is the largest mosque in Sanya now. The beams of the prayer hall are decorated with wood carvings of Koran as well as traditional Chinese pictures of mountain, river and flowers. |
