Wuhan is an ancient city of a long history and cultural heritage, in the close suburb; one could find the former site of an ancient town of Shang Dynasty three thousand years ago. During the Three Kingdoms period (220-280), Jiangxia and Queyue-the ancient towns were built in Wuchang and Hanyang separately.
