Chengdu Botanical Garden |
Founded in 1962, Chengdu Botanical Garden was a forest, 1983 turned into botanical garden. In 1985, it was formally opened. The garden is located on the northern outskirts of Tianhui town, 10 kilometers away from the city, covers an area of 47 hectares., the rate of green space is 94 percent.
The park has flourishing trees which make a pleasant shade, graceful environment and attractive scenery.
The park has more than 10 categories of garden plants, including more than 200 species Chinese and foreign rare species plants. Now has 1,700 kinds of plants.
